EghtesadOnline: Iranian foreign ministry spokesman Bahram Ghasemi has strongly condemned a criminal attack that ripped through a diplomatic district in Afghanistan’s capital, Kabul on Wednesday.

At least 80 people have been killed and over 350 injured in the powerful car bomb blast, according to IRNA.

Expressing sympathy with Afghan government and nation, Ghasemi said: “we strongly repel any use of violence or killings to reach the goals and I hope political initiatives and consultation between different parties that involve in Afghanistan chaos prevent the repetition of such unforgivable and inhumane activities”.

“Any terrorist attacks around the world should be strongly condemned. The suicide attack in Kabul is another warning that such cruel activities will be increased if some countries continue to their supports of terrorists and there is no decisive act against extremists,” he added.

“It is essential that all countries and peaceful communities seriously examine the roots of the terrorism,” the spokesman went on to say.

He stressed that Islamic Republic of Iran as always will stand by Afghan government and nation during the difficult situations.
