More than 51,000 tons of goods worth $160,887 were imported into the Iranian port city from China and the UAE during the same period. The imports mainly included cars, plywood, fiber, legume, computer parts, fabrics and home appliances.
Goods transit during the period under review stood at 37,052 tons, indicating a 156% increase year-on-year. The transited goods mainly included vehicles destined for Turkmenistan, Iraq and Afghanistan, according to Financial Tribune.
