The Song looks to take on the growing party of small crossovers targeted at urban homeowners with a relatively small wheelbase and low purchase cost. The company has now listed the vehicle on its website, but is yet to announce a final sale price, Financial Tribune discovered. Meanwhile, the Song is currently priced at around 120,000 Yuan ($25,000) in the Chinese market. Sitting on a 2660mm wheelbase, it is 4565mm long, 1830mm wide, and 1720mm tall, making it one of the smallest vehicles in BYD’s range. The car employs a gasoline turbocharged 1.5 liter engine, while in China it has other options like a hybrid version. Karmania previously announced that it would begin selling the larger BYD S6 SUV and all-electric version E6 in May. The SUV has a price tag of 987 million rials ($26,320). The company currently offers a discount of 10 million rials ($270) and a one-year free insurance scheme, Financial Tribune reported.
