EghtesadOnline: The Iranian foreign ministry spokesman stressed that the recent decision of Kuwait to reduce the number of Iranian diplomats in this Arab country is blameworthy and was not a fine action.

At its weekly press conference, Iranian foreign ministry spokesman Bahram Qassemi reacted to Kuwait's recent move to reduce the number of Iranian diplomats in the Arab country, ISNA reported.

“Kuwait has only asked Iran to reduce the number of its diplomats and there is no question about the expulsion or calling members of the Iranian embassy undesirable,” he said.

"The Iranian ambassador will remain in Kuwait," added Qassemi, noting that there was no such expectation from Kuwait although sometimes it is necessary to understand some of the conditions and problems that countries encounter.
