Directed by Navid Mahmoudi, "The Departure" (Raftan) was last month presented simultaneously in two international festivals, the Munich Film Festival and the Shanghai Film Festival, ISNA reported.
Over the past year, the film has won the Special Achievement Award at the Busan Film Festival, the Best Actor Award at the Morocco Film Festival and the Best Film Award at the Tripoli Film Festival.
“The departure” was also screened at the cinemas in Afghanistan, the United States and Belgium and had 35 international appearances.
