During the meeting, they examined the roadmap for nuclear cooperation.
According to ISNA, the two sides also discussed the latest developments in the construction of phase 2 and 3 of Bushehr nuclear power plant by the Russian Rosatom.
Kamalvandi thanked Moscow for its cooperation in Joint Commission of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) and expressed the wish that all sides would commit to their obligations under the JCPOA.
Kamalvandi also held talks with deputy Chief Executive Officer for International Relations at Rosatom Nikolai Spassky and Russian deputy finance minister Sergey Storchak.
