“The main exported products over the period were construction materials, tar, coriander seed, apple as well as chemical and industrial products, which headed to Afghanistan, Pakistan, Turkey, Kuwait and the UAE for the most part,” Nader Mirshekar, the head of Sistan-Baluchestan Industries, Mines and Trade Organization, was quoted as saying by IRNA.
The official added that 54.5% of the products were exported through local customs offices and the remaining from border markets.
Sistan-Baluchestan is located in southeast Iran, bordering Pakistan and Afghanistan, according to Financial Tribune.
