Envoy: Iran ups export capacities to South Africa

EghtesadOnline: South African Ambassador to Iran William Max Whitehead said on Tuesday that by taking strategic decisions, conditions for boosting Iran's export to South Africa has been paved.

He made the remarks in meeting with Semnan's businessmen in the venue of provincial Chamber of Commerce, according to IRNA.

Whitehead said political relations between the two countries is in high level and economic and trade ties should reach to that level.

He said that investment infrastructures in Iran are so noticeable and the embassy will propose investment in Iran to South African investors.

The ambassador stressed that South Africa has the needed capacity to export agricultural crops and to transfer science in the field of mine to Iran.

Semnan province has good infrastructures in trade and tourism and South African investors are interested to visit the province.
