EghtesadOnline: Seventh international Hezar-o Yek Shab (One Thousand and One Night) tourist train arrived in Shiraz, southern Iran, on Thursday with 47 international tourists on board.

The tourists are from Germany, Switzerland, Russia, Mexico, Turkey, Finland and Denmark and would end the tour on April 23 in Tehran, IRNA reported.

While in Shiraz, the Hezar-o Yek Shab passengers are to visit historical and cultural monuments, including the Nasir ol-Molk Mosque (the Pink Mosque), Eram Garden, Sadi and Hafez' tombs, the Persepolis, Pasargadae, and Naqsh-e Rostam sites.

This is the 17th international tourist train to have visited Iran since 2014, and the fourth in the past six months.

The train has already visited Mashad, Yazd, and Isfahan cities.

Iran's tourism industry boomed after the implementation of a landmark nuclear deal signed in 2015 between Tehran and world six major powers which ended tough sanctions imposed on Iran for its peaceful nuclear activities.
