ITE 2017 to Boost Private Sector

EghtesadOnline: Expanding private sector business activities in new technologies for payment systems will top the agenda of the Third Iran Transaction Exhibition that will run through October 24-26.

According to Mohammad Morad Bayat, the secretary of ITE 2017, the main focus of the exhibition will be digital banking ecosystems. “The exhibition will showcase the capabilities of Iran’s private sector in this field and also open new ways of expanding international relations in this regard,” he was quoted as saying by IBENA. Kourosh Parvizian, the head of the Association of Private Banks, also attended the press conference for the exhibition that is supported by the association. “Iran’s financial system has the capacity to use new payment technologies, but currently many limitations face our mobile payment regulations,” Financial Tribune quoted him as saying.
