Threefold Rise in Tehran-Jakarta Transactions

EghtesadOnline: Iran exported goods worth $244.4 million to Indonesia and its imports from the country reached $92 million during the first half of the current Iranian year (March 21-Sept. 22), registering a 337% and 44% growth respectively compared with the corresponding period of last year, Iran’s commercial attaché to Indonesia said.

Iran-Indonesia trade stood at $336.4 million in H1 2017, indicating a 192.5% increase compared with the similar period of last year, IRNA reported. Iran mainly exported metal and metal products made of iron, steel, mercury and zinc, mineral fuels, oil derivatives and agricultural products to Indonesia and imported non-organic chemical products, paper, cardboard, natural rubber, coffee and spice in return, according to Financial Tribune.
