Mohammad Reza Najafi also told Azerbaijan Press Agency that during the visit, Karbasian will meet Azerbaijan’s Minister of Economy Shahin Mustafayev. “The meeting will focus on development of economic cooperation between the two countries. Karbasian is also expected to meet with President Ilham Aliyev,” he added. Najafi noted that this will be Karbasian’s first visit to Azerbaijan as the new co-chairman of the Azerbaijani-Iranian Intergovernmental Commission on Economic, Trade and Humanitarian Cooperation, according to Financial Tribune.
