Gold Coin Drops

EghtesadOnline: The prices of benchmark gold coins in Tehran's market registered significant drops on Saturday.

Emami gold coin fetched 12,958,000 rials ($323.9) in Tehran’s gold market, losing 145,000 rials ($3.6) or 1.1% compared to Thursday’s close. Bahar Azadi, the other benchmark gold coin, traded for 12,660,000 rials ($316.5) and marked a drop of 30,000 rials. The price of Half Azadi gold coin remained unchanged at 6,570,000 rials ($164.2) while the price of Quarter Azadi gold coin declined by 30,000 rials or 0.81% and changed hands for 3,720,000 rials ($92). In the foreign exchange market, the rial was quoted at 40,180 to the US dollar to mark a growth of 10 rials in the value of the greenback, according to Financial Tribune.
