Managing Director of IMIDRO Mehdi Karbasian and Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Czech Republic Eduard Muricky signed the MoU.
In signing ceremony, according to IRNA, Karbasian said that Czech Republic has good capacities in the field of mine data and machinery and Iran is interested to continue its cooperation with Czech Republic.
He said that Czech companies are to provide financial resources for projects, mine machinery and cooperation on modern technologies in Iran's coal mine and to propose their solutions for the mines.
Karbasian also expressed readiness to exchange mine data between the two countries, and said that establishment of working group for mine cooperation may pave way to share experiences and also the latest mine technologies.
He proposed Czech Republic Ministry of Industry and Trade dispatches an expert team in the field of coal mine to Iran, so the Iranian side may use their knowledge in the field of mine safety, exploration, utilization and exploitation.
Muricky, for his part, acknowledged the volume of Czech Republic export to Iran over past one year has rose 60 percent and added that the two countries have found mutual trade route with each other and signing such MoU is a witness for the claim.
He proposed a joint working group to be established on mine exploitation issue.
Muricky underlined effect of mine and mining industry expert association in pushing forward mine programs in Czech Republic, and added that his country is investing on small and medium size mines.
He said that there is an organization for research on mine safety in Czech Republic and the related knowledge to this sector might be at disposal of Iranians.
Czech Republic Ambassador to Iran Svatopluk Cumba also acknowledged about dispatching a mine delegation to Iran, and said that Czech Republic has noticeable experiences in the field of renovation of mines after exploiting operation.
He invited head of IMIDRO to visit mine activities in Czech Republic.
According to the figures released by Czech Republic Statistics Institute in 2015 bilateral relations rose by 50 percent and exchange volume reached $52 million.
In the first six months of the current year, the growth rate was 10 percent and figure reached to $27.1 million rising from $24.236 million during last year's corresponding period.
