EghtesadOnline: Deputy Head of the Union of the Oil, Gas and Petrochemical Exporters Ehsan Baqerian says an Iranian petrochemical company has newly been successful to open a Letter of credit in Europe, which should be taken as a change in export of the petrochemical products.

Baqerian told a press conference that regarding stop in export of petrochemicals and oil products to Iraqi Kurdistan Region, the idea for increasing the exports to Iraq can be followed.

According to IRNA, he said that of course Iraq tariffs on Iranian products are not so much appropriate to make Iranian products more expensive.

Baqerian went on to refer to new liabilities of the US government regarding economic ties with Iran and said at the time of sanctions, the private sector managed to follow up the job in connection with exports and the private sector should be strengthened to the extent that whatever the US president says, they will not affect the country's exports and economic relations.

He commented on export of products through the Union of Oil Products Exporters and said total volume of exports stood at about seven billion dollars, 3.5 billion dollars of which going to petrochemicals and 1.5 billion dollars to hydrocarbons.
