Iran, Germany sign MoU to train water, sewage experts

EghtesadOnline: Managing Director of Iran's National Water & Wastewater Engineering Company (NWWEC) Hamid Reza Janbaz announced on Wednesday signature of training memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Germany Company of 'German Water'.

In the third day of the 13th International Water and Wastewater exhibition in Tehran, Janbaz said that training professional man power in the sector of water and wastewater in the country is in agenda of the company, IRNA reported.

Concerning signed MoU with German Water, Janbaz said that a vocational training center will be built in Isfahan, which 50 percent of its expenses will be paid by Germany Science Ministry.

The institute will help students and experts to enjoy executive works experiences as well as academic sciences.

Janbaz added that the training courses will start as short-terms and then medium-terms and the graduates will receive international certificate at the end of course.

The 13th International Water & Wastewater exhibition kicked off on Monday by participation of 258 domestic and 105 foreign companies in Tehran.

Representatives from Italy, Turkey, Germany, Azerbaijan Republic, Hungary, China, France, Spain, Denmark, South Korea, India, Switzerland, Austria, Britain, Sweden, Japan, Canada, Belgium, Iceland and Czech Republic are participating in the fair.
The fair will be open for four days.
