Iran-China Trade Up 24%

EghtesadOnline: Iran-China trade during the eight months to Aug. 31, 2017 stood at $24.17 billion, registering a 24% increase compared with the corresponding period of last year.

Iran exported about $12.13 billion worth of goods to China during the period, indicating a 30% increase compared with the similar period of last year, Mehr News Agency reported, citing the General Administration of Customs of the People’s Republic of China. Iran’s imports from China amounted to $12.04 billion, showing more than an 18% rise year-on-year, Financial Tribune reported.

China has long been Iran’s biggest trading partner in the world.
