"British foreign secretary Boris Johnson is going to travel to Iran before the end of 2017," Iranian foreign ministry spokesman Bahram Qassemi said.
"The British foreign secretary’s visit to Iran has nothing to do with his recent statements about the Nazanin Zaghari trial, and was planned earlier. Different issues will be discussed during his visit to Tehran," he added.
According to ISNA, Qassemi added that French President Emmanuel Macron will also visit Iran which likely will take place after French foreign minister’s visit to Tehran.
