Najafi had previously served as the mayor of Tabriz, the capital of East Azarbaijan Province in northwestern Iran, the head of East Azarbaijan Industries, Mines and Trade Organization and the head of Aras Free Trade Zone, ILNA reported on Saturday.
By definition, enterprises run by under 50 workers and under 100 workers are considered small- and medium-sized respectively, according to Iran’s Small Industries and Industrial Parks Organization.
