“In addition to enabling the possibility of offering distinctive bank services and increasing the facility, security and speed of offering these services to customers, investing in information technology and new technologies to create digital banking venues will ultimately lead to a general decrease in the bank’s costs,” Mohammad Bigdeli was also quoted as saying by IBENA in a meeting of executives working in the bank’s Information Technology Department. Bigdeli, who has been recently named as the bank’s CEO, said Bank Mellat welcomes investments in information technology and digital banking, Financial Tribune reported.
