On Sunday, a total of 1,110 requests to pre-purchase 11,614 six-month coins and 44,465 one-year coins were registered, Bank Melli’s website announced.
On Monday, another 1,702 requests to pre-purchase 9,892 six-month coins and 30,354 one-year coins were registered, bringing the total of coins sold in the presale to 96,325.
Presale of coins at Bank Melli’s Bank Kargoshaee, which began more than three months ago, is still continuing. The benchmark Bahar Azadi gold coin was traded for 14.75 million rials ($327) in Tehran on Wednesday, according to Financial Tribune.
