TEDPIX Inches Up in Wednesday Trade

EghtesadOnline: Tehran Stock Exchange’s main index gained 8.80 points or 0.01% to end Wednesday trade at 98,157.3.

About 1.01 billion shares valued at $62.07 million changed hands at TSE for the day.

Trading at TSE and Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends on Wednesday.

Niroo Investment Company was the biggest riser, going up 27.14% to 1,368 rials per share, according to Financial Tribune.

Behbahan Cement Company incurred the biggest loss among all TSE-listed companies, as it went down 4.98% to 12,092 rials per share.

Golgohar Mining and Industrial Complex gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Chadormalu Mining and Industrial Complex and Niroo Investment Company.

Mobarakeh Steel Company was the biggest laggard behind the benchmark’s fall, followed by Iran National Copper Industry Company and Isfahan Oil Refining Company.

The Price Index gained 2.85 points to close at 31,294.5.

The First Market Index was down 27.61 points to post 69,790.9. 

The Second Market Index added 197.76 to reach 208,674.8.

The Industry Index gave up 28.16 points to register 87,260.4.

The Free Float Index was up 52.20 points to hit 105,299.28.

The TSE 30 lost 2.39 points to settle at 4,346 while the TSE 50 shed 7.63 points to finish at 4,084.2.

Iran Fara Bourse’s main index IFX lost 1.1 points or 0.1% to close Wednesday trade at 1,097.05.

About 299.99 million securities valued at $74.42 million were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.

Esfahan Steel Company witnessed the highest number of traded shares and trade value, as 39.304 million of its shares worth $723,308 changed hands.

Iran & Shargh Leasing Company, Marjankar Company and Ghasem Iran Company registered the highest value increase.

Shirvan Sugar Company, A.S.P Company and Tuka Refractories suffered the biggest decline.

Esfahan Steel Company, Damavand Power Generation Company and Hormozgan Steel Company had the most negative impact on IFX.
