TEDPIX Ends Sun. Trade Lower

EghtesadOnline: Tehran Stock Exchange’s main index lost 566.02 points or 0.59% to end Sunday trade at 96,028.5.

About 735 million shares valued at $42.23 million changed hands at TSE for the day.

Trading at TSE and Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends on Wednesday.

Zahravi Pharmaceutical Company incurred the biggest loss among all TSE-listed companies, as it went down 4.99% to 14.266 rials per share, according to Financial Tribune.

Nirou Chlor Company was the biggest riser, going up 4.95% to 3,946 rials per share.

Telecommunications Company of Iran was the biggest laggard behind the benchmark’s fall, followed by Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company and Mobarakeh Steel Company.

Informatics Services Corporation gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Tehran Oil Refining Company and Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Company.

The Price Index lost 180.32 points to close at 30,598.1.

The First Market Index was down 475.05 points to post 68,019.4. 

The Second Market Index shed 822.27 points to reach 205,502.7.

The Industry Index dropped 515.14 points to register 85,263.6.

The Free Float Index gave up 721.46 points to end at 102,713.62.

The TSE 30 lost 34.17 points to settle at 4,239.6 while the TSE 50 was down 23.35 to finish at 3,996.3.

 IFX Sheds 3.66 Points

Iran Fara Bourse’s main index IFX lost 3.66 points or 0.34% to close Sunday trade at 1,080.72.

About 232.4 million securities valued at $309.88 million were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.

Esfahan Steel Company had the highest number of traded shares, as 38.33 million of its shares were traded.

Pars Paper Industries registered the highest trade value, with the trading of shares worth $2 million.

Iranian Investment Incorporation, Tukarail Company and Saman Insurance registered the highest value increase.

Arfa Iron & Steel Company, Kharazmi IT Development Company and Sobhan Oncology Company suffered the biggest decline.

Arfa Iron & Steel Company, Zagros Petrochemical Company and Esfahan Steel Company had the most negative impact on IFX.
