Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company was the biggest laggard behind the benchmark’s fall, followed by Mobin Petrochemical Company and Ghadir Investment Company.
MAPNA gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Isfahan Oil Refining Company and Khuzestan Steel Company
The Price Index lost 61.01 points to close at 30,913.9.
The First Market Index was down 105.51 points to post 68,755.8.
The Second Market Index shed 567.73 points to reach 207,277.3.
The Industry Index dropped 177.46 points to register 86,140.1.
The Free Float Index gave up 312.38 points to end at 103,953.27.
The TSE 30 lost 4.26 points to settle at 4,293.3 while the TSE 50 was down 3.32 to finish at 4,037.6.

About 426.29 million securities valued at $62.92 million were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.
Esfahan Steel Company had the highest number of traded shares and trade value, as 49.467 million of its shares worth $1.44 changed hands.
Tukarail Company, Tadbirgaran-e Fars and Khuzestan and Iranian Investment Incorporation registered the highest value increase.
Mihan Insurance, Marjankar Company and Saman Insurance suffered the biggest decline.
Zagros Petrochemical Company, Shiraz Oil Refining Company and Saman Insurance had the most negative impact on IFX.
