EghtesadOnline: The Central Bank of Iran’s next regulatory framework document for fintechs dealing with personal finance and account information management will be publicly disclosed early next fiscal year that begin on March 21, the deputy for development and supervision at Shaparak announced.

“All companies that have wallets will be subject to this document,” Mohammad Reza Roshanzadeh was also quoted as saying by IBENA at a FinTalk event on Sunday. The official noted that the relationship between CBI-affiliated Shaparak and fintechs is one of support and “minimal intervention”. Roshanzadeh noted that similar to CBI’s previous documents, this new regulatory framework will also be devised after consulting fintech players and would be responsive toward future corrective changes, according to Financial Tribune.
