“The main exported products over the period were tar, different kinds of industrial oils, silicon carbide, construction materials, food products, seafood, electricity, textile and apparel,” Ali Mousavi was also quoted as saying by ILNA.
Arvand Free Trade Zone is spread over 144 square kilometers on the border of Iran’s southern Khuzestan province in the city of Khorramshahr and borders Iraq.
Iran is home to seven free trade zones, namely Kish, Qeshm, Chabahar, Anzali, Maku, Aras and Arvand, as well as 64 special economic zones, Financial Tribune reported.
