TEDPIX Ends Week at 96,287

EghtesadOnline: Tehran Stock Exchange’s main index lost 460.95 points or 0.48% on Wednesday compared to the day before to end trade at 96,287.1.

About 958 million shares valued at $49.36 million changed hands at TSE for the day.

Trading at TSE and Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends on Wednesday.

TSE Financial Institutions was the biggest riser, going up 4.98% to 3,248 rials per share, according to Financial Tribune.

Kharg Petrochemical Company incurred the biggest loss among all TSE-listed companies, as it went down 5.87% to 24,198 rials per share. It was the biggest laggard behind the benchmark’s fall, followed by Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company and Mobarakeh Steel Company.

Mobile Telecommunications Company of Iran gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Chadormalu Mining and Industrial Complex and Tehran Oil Refining Company.

The Price Index lost 146.11 points to close at 30,532.7.

The First Market Index was down 392.65 points to post 68,069.2. 

The Second Market Index shed 640.23 points to reach 206,757.8.

The Industry Index dropped 86,290.2 points to register 398.89.

The Free Float Index lost 662.20 points to end at 102,323.27.

The TSE 30 was down 17.28 points to settle at 4,307.9 and the TSE 50 gave up 13.60 to finish at 4,064.3.

 IFX Down 10 Points

Iran Fara Bourse’s main index IFX lost 10.43 points or 0.97% to close Wednesday trade at 1,064.06.

About 315.89 million securities valued at $49.05 million were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.

Esfahan Steel Company had the highest number of traded shares, as 89.72 million of its shares changed hands.

Zagros Petrochemical Company registered the highest trade value, with the trading of shares worth $2.14 million.

Ballast Company, A.S.P Company and Day Insurance registered the highest value increase.

Iranol Oil Company, Behpak Industrial Company and Tuka Paint suffered the biggest decline.

Zagros Petrochemical Company, Esfahan Steel Company and Iranol Oil Company had the most negative impact on IFX.
