The announcement was made by Director General of North Khorasan Industries, Mining and Trade Organization Yahya Nikdel, IRNA reported.
Afghanistan, Turkmenistan, Iraq, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan, Turkey, India, Germany, the UAE, Russia and Bulgaria were the main export destinations.
Industrial commodities accounted for 32% of the province’s exports with 197,000 tons worth $48.07 million, according to Financial Tribune.
Petrochemical products had the second largest share (57%) with 311,000 tons worth over $85 million, up by 44% and 45% respectively year-on-year.
Agro products made up 11% of North Khorasan’s exports with over 23,000 tons worth $16 million, up 39% in value and down 90% in tonnage YOY.
