TEDPIX Stumbles on Saturday

EghtesadOnline: Tehran Stock Exchange’s main index lost 511.43 points or 0.55% on Saturday compared to the day before to end trade at 93,100.7.

About 3.6 billion shares valued at $239.66 million changed hands at TSE for the day.

Trading at TSE and Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends on Wednesday.

Persian Gulf Transportation Company was the biggest riser, going up 4.98% to 2,696 rials per share, according to Financial Tribune.

Navard va Ghataat Company incurred the biggest loss among all TSE-listed companies, as it went down 4.99% to 6,869 rials per share.

Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company was the biggest laggard behind the benchmark’s fall, followed by Iran National Copper Industry Company and Esfahan Oil Refining Company.

Mobin Petrochemical Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Chadormalu Mining and Industrial Complex and Jam Petrochemical Company.

The Price Index lost 0.55 points to close at 29,248.8.

The First Market Index was down 0.50 points to post 66,135.1. 

The Second Market Index shed 0.64 points to reach 198,260.4.

The Industry Index dropped 0.56 points to register 83,301.5.

The Free Float Index gave up 524.53 points to end at 98,930.57.

The TSE 30 was down 0.45 points to settle at 4,133.7 and the TSE 50 lost 0.51 points to finish at 3,918.2.

Iran Fara Bourse’s main index IFX lost 15.18 points or 1.44% to close Saturday trade at 1,041.8.

About 291.98 million securities valued at $40.67 million were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.

Tourism Bank had the highest number of traded shares, as 80.43 million of its shares were traded.

Zagros Petrochemical Company registered highest trade value, with the trading of shares worth $1.91 million.

Pegah Fars Dairy Company, Pakdis Company and Arfa Steel Company registered the highest value increase.

Kowsar Bank HQ, Tourism Bank and Zangan Zinc Industry Company suffered the biggest decline.

Marun Petrochemical Company, Kowsar Bank HQ and Tourism Bank had the most negative impact on IFX.
