TEDPIX Ends Week at 94,940

EghtesadOnline: Tehran Stock Exchange’s main index gained 34.34 points or 0.04% on Wednesday compared to the day before to end trading at 94,940.2.

About 1.04 billion shares valued at $55.39 million changed hands at TSE for the day.

Trading at TSE and Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends on Wednesday.

Mobin Petrochemical Company was the biggest riser, going up 5.37% to 3,986 rials per share, Financial Tribune reported.

The Pipe and Machine Manufacturing Company of Iran incurred the biggest loss among all TSE-listed companies, as it went down 4.97% to 5,220 rials per share.

Mobin Petrochemical Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Golgohar Mining and Industrial Complex and Khuzestan Steel Company.

Telecommunications Company of Iran was the biggest laggard behind the benchmark’s fall, followed by SAIPA Group and Iran Khodro Group.

The Price Index gained 10.78 points to close at 29,650.2.

The First Market Index was up 7.88 points to post 67,614.5. 

The Second Market Index added 163.09 points to reach 201,256.1.

The Industry Index scored 40.36 points to register 85,093.6.

The Free Float Index lost 4.36 points to end at 101,386.91.

The TSE 30 was up 3.27 points to settle at 4,226.1 and the TSE 50 gained 2.89 points to finish at 3,991.8.

Iran Fara Bourse’s main index IFX gained 4.5 points or 0.41% to close Wednesday trade at 1,097.79.

About 219 million securities valued at $34 million were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.

Esfahan Steel Company had the highest number of traded shares, as 31.18 million of its shares changed hands.

Lavan Oil Refining Company registered the highest trade value, with the trading of shares worth $1.03 million.

Tukarail Company, Minoo Group and Mah Taab Kahnooj Electricity Generation Company registered the highest value increase.

Tourism Bank, Afranet Company and Tadbirgaran-e Fars and Khuzestan suffered the biggest decline.

Marun Petrochemical Company, Lavan Oil Refining Company and Shiraz Oil Refining Company had the most positive impact on IFX.
