Ali Morteza Birang, deputy vice president for science and technology, urged the need for proper measures so that the event goes on smoothly, and announced the vice-presidency's full support and willingness to cooperate with the Foreign Ministry in the provision of services to foreign visitors, reported ISNA.
"Attended by science and technology experts, this conference is held annually in one of the member countries, with Iran as a first-time host to the event this year," IASP Director-General Louis Sanz was quoted as saying in a recent meeting with Iranian officials in Tehran, Financial Tribune reported.
The International Association of Science Parks and Areas of Innovation, branded as IASP, is a non-profit, membership-based organization intending to boost growth, globalization and effectiveness for its members, according to IASP official website.
