EghtesadOnline: Major Iranian e-hailing company Snapp has made inroads into two new markets as its services have become operational in Bushehr and Hamadan.

Customers from Bushehr in the southwest of the country and Hamadan in the west can now order the services of the widely-used ride-hailing app. The news was made public in the company’s news blog along with the announcement that citizens of the two cities can hop a ride free of charge for their first trip costing under 80,000 rials ($1.9) until July 10 using the code “Salam-HB” which means “hello” in Persian with the initials of Hamadan and Bushehr added at the end. Android users can have a fairly easy access to the application via major app stores, and iOS users can check Snapp’s website for a tutorial on how to install the app on their handsets. Snapp is currently offering services in 23 cities. It reports having 300,000 plus drivers working for it and over 10 million registered users. The company says it receives over one million trip requests daily, of which at least 800,000 get through, according to Financial Tribune.
