According to the airport’s manager, over 180 billion rials ($4.28 million) have been spent on the construction of the terminal in an area of 4,600 square meters.
Mehdi Razzaz added that the construction of the terminal started in the fiscal 2011-12 and was completed last year (ended March 20, 2018).
“Now international flights can be conducted at this airport,” Financial Tribune quoted him as saying.
Bojnourd is the capital city of North Khorasan Province located about 700 km from Tehran.
