The index registered a year-on-year increase of 10.2% compared with the similar month of last year. SCI put Khordad’s inflation for urban and rural areas at 8.2% and 7.9% respectively. The overall CPI reached 116.1 for urban households and 117.1 for rural households, indicating an increase of 1.7% for urban areas and 2.7% for rural areas compared with the previous month. The index registered a year-on-year increase of 10.2% for urban areas and 9.9% for rural areas compared with the similar month of last year, according to Financial Tribune.
