Inflation Highest in Kermanshah, Lowest in Kohgilouyeh

EghtesadOnline: The average goods and services Consumer Price Index in the 12-month period ending June 21, which marks the end of the Iranian month of Khordad, increased by 11.1% compared with last year’s corresponding period for the western province of Kermanshah, marking the highest rate among all Iranian provinces.

The index grew by 5.9% in the southwestern Kohgilouyeh-Boyerahmad Province, which is the lowest among all provinces, the Statistical Center of Iran reported. 

The overall CPI index in Iran for the 12-month period increased by 8.2% compared with last year’s corresponding period. 

The country index stood at 116.2 in Khordad, indicating a 1.9% rise compared with the previous month. It registered a year-on-year increase of 10.2% compared with the similar month of last year, according to Financial Tribune.
