TEDPIX Ends Saturday Trade 1.28 Percent Lower

EghtesadOnline: Tehran Stock Exchange’s main index lost 1,438.40 points or 1.28% on Saturday to end trading at 111,051.6. About 1.17 billion shares valued at $71.8 million changed hands at TSE for the day.

Trading at TSE and Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends on Wednesday. Niroo Mohareke Co. was the biggest riser, going up 5% to 1,743 rials per share.

Sazeh Pouyesh Co. incurred the biggest loss among all TSE-listed companies and went down 4.98% to 19,730 rials per share. 

Bank Saderat gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Mobile Telecommunication Company of Iran and the Telecommunication Company of Iran, according to Financial Tribune.

Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company was the biggest laggard behind the benchmark’s fall, followed by Mobarakeh Steel Company and Tamin Petroleum and Petrochemical Investment Company.

The Price Index lost 436.47 points to close at 33,703.9.

The First Market Index was down 1,099.32 points to post 81,509.3. 

The Second Market Index dropped 2,653.76 points to reach 222,535.2.

The Industry Index gave up 1,498.92 points to register 100,555.1.

The Free Float Index lost 1,374.72 points to hit 121,907.85.

The TSE 30 was down 84.10 point to settle at 5,447 and the TSE 50 ended 73.03 points lower to finish at 4,752.

Iran Fara Bourse’s main index IFX shed 8.42 points or 0.67% to close Saturday trade at 1,244.41.

About 531 million securities valued at $70 million were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.

Esfahan Steel Company had the highest number of traded shares and trade value, as 152.78 million of its shares worth $4.6 million were traded.

Tourism Bank, Ghadir Petrochemical Company and Chaharmahal Sugar Co. registered the highest value increase.

Shomal-e-Shargh-e-Shahroud Industrial and Mining Company, Caspian Tamin Pharmaceutical Co. and Zagnan Zinc Industries Co. suffered the biggest decline.

Zagros Petrochemical Company, Esfahan Steel Company and Middle East Mines and Mining Industries Development Holding Company had the most negative impact on IFX.
