TSE Benchmark Rises 0.48% in Saturday Trading

EghtesadOnline: Tehran Stock Exchange’s main index gained 518.92 points or 0.48% on Saturday to end trading at 108,295.5.

About 786 million shares valued at $32.40 million changed hands at TSE for the day.

Trading at TSE and Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends on Wednesday.

Bahman Group was the biggest winner, as its shares went up 13.42% to 828 rials per share, Financial Tribune reported.

Shahid Ghandi Corporation Complex incurred the biggest loss among all TSE-listed companies and went down 4.75% to 2,244 rials per share.

Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Mobile Telecommunications Company of Iran and Jam Petrochemical Company.

Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines Company was the biggest laggard behind the benchmark’s fall, followed by Khuzestan Steel Company and National Development Investment Group.

The Price Index gained 155.42 points to close at 32,414.

The First Market Index was up 196.53 points to post 77,987.6. 

The Second Market Index added 1,918.45 points to reach 224,238.5.

The Industry Index scored 469.06 points to register 97,869.9.

The Free Float Index gathered 503.17 points to hit 117,167.32.

The TSE 30 was up 17.60 point to settle at 5,140.7 and the TSE 50 ended 21.28 points higher to finish at 4,575.4.

Iran Fara Bourse’s main index IFX added 2.98 points or 0.25% to close Saturday trade at 1,213.75.

About 193.85 million securities valued at $50.60 million were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.

Rail Seir Kowsar Company had the highest number of traded shares and trade value, as 13.54 million of its shares worth $651,480 were traded.

Tourism Bank, Afranet Company and Bahman Diesel Company registered the highest value increase.

Khazar Sea Shipping Lines Company, Pakdis Company and Iranian Investment Incorporation suffered the biggest decline.

Arfa Steel Company, MAPNA Asaluyeh Power Plant and Tourism Bank had the most positive impact on IFX.
