TEDPIX Ends Week at 108,800

EghtesadOnline: Tehran Stock Exchange’s main index gained 404.11 points or 0.37% on Wednesday to end trading at 108,800.

About 2.45 billion shares valued at $79.71 million changed hands at TSE for the day.

Trading at TSE and Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends on Wednesday.

Tehran Oil Refining Company was the biggest winner, as its shares went up 9.95% to 3,095 rials per share, according to Financial Tribune.

Pars Refractories incurred the biggest loss among all TSE-listed companies and went down 4.84% to 2,849 rials per share.

Tehran Oil Refining Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Iran National Copper Industries Company and Mobarakeh Steel Company.

Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company was the biggest laggard behind the benchmark’s fall, followed by Pars Petrochemical Company and SAIPA Group.

The Price Index gained 118.51 points to close at 31,902.9.

The First Market Index was up 463.17 points to post 78,956. 

The Second Market Index added 15.85 points to reach 222,400.9. 

The Industry Index gathered 406.82 points to register 98,362.6.

The Free Float Index was up 479.29 points to hit 117,866.56.

The TSE 30 gained 39.97 point to settle at 5,202.1 and the TSE 50 ended 27.12 points higher to finish at 4,616.6.

 IFX Up 1.14%

Iran Fara Bourse’s main index IFX added 13.86 points or 1.14% to close Wednesday trade at 1,232.55.

About 347.31 million securities valued at $38.39 million were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.

Esfahan Steel Company had the highest number of traded shares, as 97.35 million of its shares were traded.

Pars Paper Industries Group registered the highest trade value, with the trading of shares worth $3.42 million.

Lavan Oil Refining Company, Lar Sabzevar Cement Company and Pars Paper Industries Group registered the highest value increase.

Sobhan Oncology Company, Mavad Vizhe Lia Company and Alvand Housing Investment Company suffered the biggest decline.

Zagros Petrochemical Company, Lavan Oil Refining Company and Esfahan Steel Company Company had the most positive impact on IFX.
