TEDPIX Ends Trading Week Near 124,000

EghtesadOnline: Tehran Stock Exchange’s main index gained 2,777.76 points or 2.29% on Wednesday to end trading at 123,951.3.

About 2.13 billion shares valued at $171.87 million changed hands at TSE for the day.

Trading at TSE and Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends on Wednesday.

Pars Petrochemical Company was the biggest winner, as its shares went up 5% to 31,544 rials per share, Financial Tribune reported.

Tolid Mavade Avallieh Daroupakhsh incurred the biggest loss among all TSE-listed companies and went down 4.99% to 6,202 rials per share.

Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Pars Petrochemical Company and Tamin Petroleum and Petrochemical Investment Company.

Chadormalu Mining and Industrial Complex was the biggest laggard behind the benchmark’s fall, followed by Iran National Copper Industries Company and Calcimine Company.

The Price Index gained 814.58 points to close at 36,345.4. The First Market Index was up 1,686.47 points to post 90,363.1.

The Second Market Index added 7,249.78 points to reach 251,412.8. The Industry Index scored 2,769.59 points to register 113,364.6. 

The Free Float Index was up 2,356.43 points to hit 133,029.71. 

The TSE 30 gained 149.12 point to settle at 6,137.1 and the TSE 50 ended 135.97 points higher to finish at 5,362.

 IFX Up 2.45%

Iran Fara Bourse’s main index IFX added 34.13 points or 2.45% to close Wednesday trade at 1,428.87.

About 958.18 million securities valued at $72.79 million were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.

Esfahan Steel Company had the highest number of traded shares and trade value, as 354.95 million of its shares worth $12.28 million were traded.

MobinOne Kish Company, Zagros Petrochemical Company and Marun Petrochemical Company registered the highest value increase.

Bank Day, KBC Company and Pegah Golpayegan Dairy Company suffered the biggest decline.

Marun Petrochemical Company, Zagros Petrochemical Company and Middle East Mines Industries Development Holding Company had the most positive impact on IFX.
