Terminal for Shiraz Int’l Flights Under Construction

EghtesadOnline: A terminal designated for international flights is currently under construction at Shiraz International Airport.

According to Director General of Fars Province Airports Company Reza Badieifard, the new terminal is spread over an area of 23,000 square meters and will have the capacity to handle three million passengers annually, the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development’s news service reported.

“So far, the construction has cost more than 1 trillion rials ($22.66 million),” Badieifard said.

Shiraz International Airport currently operates direct flights to Istanbul, Doha, Muscat, Baghdad, Najaf, Dubai, Sharjah, Kuwait City and Vienna, Financial Tribune reported.
