EghtesadOnline: Tehran Stock Exchange’s main index lost 2,062.78 points or 1.54% on Wednesday to end trading at 131,521.6.

About 2.22 billion shares valued at $158.25 million changed hands at TSE for the day.

Trading at TSE and Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends on Wednesday.

Pardis Petrochemical Company was the biggest winner, as its shares went up 5% to 12,432 rials per share, according to Financial Tribune.

Azarab Industries Company incurred the biggest loss among all TSE-listed companies and went down 41.85% to 1,769 rials per share.

Pardis Petrochemical Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Mellat Bank and Mobile Telecommunications Company of Iran.

Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company was the biggest laggard behind the benchmark’s fall, followed by Mobarakeh Steel Company and Pars Petrochemical Company.

The Price Index lost 604.81 points to close at 38,562.8. The First Market Index was down 1,335.77 points to post 95,770.1. The Second Market Index shed 4,984.28 points to reach 267,301.7. 

The Industry Index dropped 2,184.92 points to register 120,664.1. The Free Float Index was down 1,624.99 points to end at 140,370.14. The TSE 30 lost 97.25 point to settle at 6,607.3 and the TSE 50 ended 99.27 points lower to finish at 5,756.9.

 IFX Down 2.12%

Iran Fara Bourse’s main index IFX lost 32.5 points or 2.12% to close Wednesday trade at 1,499.65.

About 635 million securities valued at $105.57 million were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.

Esfahan Steel Company had the highest number of traded shares, as 206.16 million of its shares changed hands.

Zagros Petrochemical Company registered the highest trade value, as $10.42 million worth of its shares were traded.

Iran Cultural Heritage and Tourism Investment Group Company, A.S.P Company and Mavad Vizhe Lia Company registered the highest value increase.

Rishmac Production and Exports Company, Zagros Petrochemical Company and Marun Petrochemical Company suffered the biggest decline.

Marun Petrochemical Company, Zagros Petrochemical Company and Middle East Mines Industries Development Holding Company had the most negative impact on IFX.
