TEDPIX Ends Monday Trade 1.06 Percent Lower

EghtesadOnline: Tehran Stock Exchange’s main index lost 1,379.18 points or 1.06% on Monday to end trading at 128,522.7.

About 1.66 billion shares valued at $40.88 million changed hands at TSE for the day.

Trading at TSE and Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends on Wednesday.

Qayen Cement Company was the biggest winner, as its shares went up 18.42% to 8,365 rials per share, according to Financial Tribune.

Alumrad Company incurred the biggest loss among all TSE-listed companies and went down 4.65% to 5,416 rials per share.

Mobarakeh Steel Company was the biggest laggard behind the benchmark’s fall, followed by Iran National Copper Industry Company and Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company.

Informatics Services Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by MAPNA Group and Mellat Bank.

The Price Index lost 404.30 points to close at 37,683.5.

The First Market Index was down 926.50 points to post 93,794.6. 

The Second Market Index shed 3,173.04 points to reach 260,214.

The Industry Index gave up 1,473.26 points to register 117,576.7.

The Free Float Index was down 1,678.79 points to end at 137,098.79.

The TSE 30 lost 118.03 point to settle at 6,382.4 and the TSE 50 ended 70.28 points lower to finish at 5,600.1.

Iran Fara Bourse’s main index IFX gained 8.15 points or 0.55% to close Monday trade at 1,483.3.

About 665.84 million securities valued at $33.47 million were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.

Esfahan Steel Company had the highest number of traded shares and trade value, as 169.19 million of its shares worth $3.08 million changed hands.

Iran Cultural Heritage and Tourism Investment Group Company, Sina Port and Marine Company, and Yazd Alloy Steel Company registered the highest value increase.

Esfahan Steel Company, Iranian Investment Incorporation and Ghadir Petrochemical Company suffered the biggest decline.

Esfahan Steel Company, Zagros Petrochemical Company and Damavand Power Generation Company had the most negative impact on IFX.
