Rail Exports From Qom to CIS Grow 29%

EghtesadOnline: More than 3,403 tons of goods were exported via railroads from Qom Province to the Commonwealth of Independent States during the first four months of the current Iranian year (March 21-July 22), which shows a 29% increase compared with the similar period of last year.

According to director general of Qom Railways, Mohsen Etemad, the exported goods mainly included tiles, granule, machinery oil and plastic products, the news portal of the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development reported.

Overall, 6,780 tons of goods were loaded and 32,450 tons were unloaded via railroads in Qom during the period under review, registering a 96% and 19% year-on-year increase respectively, Financial Tribune reported.
