TEDPIX Ends 1st Day of Trading Week Lower

EghtesadOnline: Tehran Stock Exchange’s main index lost 1,362.67 points or 0.99% on Saturday to end trading at 136,109.7.

About 2.99 billion shares valued at $59.22 million changed hands at TSE for the day.

Trading at TSE and Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends on Wednesday.

Qayen Cement Company was the biggest winner, as its shares went up 36.7% to 14,457 rials per share, according to Financial Tribune.

National Investment Company of Iran incurred the biggest loss among all TSE-listed companies and went down 4.73% to 1,933 rials per share.

Mobarakeh Steel Company was the biggest laggard behind the benchmark’s fall, followed by Iran National Copper Industry Company and Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company.

Mellat Bank gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines Company and Jam Petrochemical Company.

The Price Index lost 398.49 points to close at 39,812.3. The First Market Index was down 1,258 points to post 100,033. 

The Second Market Index shed 1,490.57 points to reach 272,235.4. The Industry Index gave up 1,561.94 points to register 124,234.1.

The Free Float dropped 1,233.56 points to end at 145,165.51.

The TSE 30 lost 118.31 point to settle at 6,612.2 and the TSE 50 ended 88.16 points lower to finish at 5,882.9.

Iran Fara Bourse’s main index IFX lost 11.13 points or 0.72% to close Saturday trade at 1,545.23.

About 791.64 million securities valued at $29.84 million were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.

Esfahan Steel Company had the highest number of traded shares and trade value, as 83.51 million of its shares worth $1.58 million changed hands.

Khazar Sea Shipping Lines Company, Afranet Company and Caspian Tamin Pharmaceutical Company registered the highest value increase.

MobinOne Kish Company, Rishmac Productive and Exports Company, and Pasargad Oil Company suffered the biggest decline.

Hormozgan Steel Company, Zagros Petrochemical Company and Esfahan Steel Company had the most negative impact on IFX.
