Most Consumers Complain About Bread, Fruit

EghtesadOnline: More than 28,100 public complaints were filed against goods and service providers with the industries, mining and trade organizations of Iranian provinces during the fifth month of the Iranian calendar (July 23-Aug. 22), according to a report released by the Consumer and Producer Protection Organization.

Some 88% of the complaints pertained to products and the rest to services. Most of the complaints against sellers pertained to those of bread, fruit and vegetables, IRNA reported. Restaurants and parking lots were service centers accounting for a majority of complaints. Iranians can file complaints against businesses through the hotline 124, according to Financial Tribune.
