The year-on-year CPI growth was the lowest for Kerman Province with 26.1%, the Statistical Center of Iran reported.
The overall goods and services CPI in Iran registered a YOY increase of 32.8% compared with the similar month of last year.
The overall CPI (using the Iranian year to March 2017 as the base year) stood at 144.1 in Mehr, indicating a 7.1% rise compared with the previous month, according to Financial Tribune.
The growth in overall CPI compared with the previous month (Aug. 23-Sept. 22), was the highest (9.5%) again for Ilam Province and lowest (5%) for Qom.
The average overall goods and services CPI in Iran in the 12-month period ending Oct. 22 increased by 13.4% compared with last year’s corresponding period.
Lorestan Province registered the highest 12-month inflation with 16.6% while Kerman Province posted the lowest 12-month inflation of 10.4%. Average annual inflation gap among provinces was 6.2% in Mehr, indicating a 1% increase compared with the month before.
