Iran’s exports to India stood at 6.02 million tons worth $1.57 billion, down 6.92% and 10.78% in tonnage and value respectively YOY. India was Iran’s fifth major export destination during the eight months.
Iran mainly exported urea, methanol, ammonia, liquefied propane and bitumen to India during the period.
India exported 1.14 million tons of goods worth $1.61 billion to Iran during the same period, down 12.26% in tonnage and up 0.61% in value YOY. India was the fourth major exporter of goods to Iran, according to Financial Tribune.
The imports mainly included semi-milled rice, tea, graphite electrodes used in furnaces and paperboard.
