Iran's Non-Oil Trade With South Korea Tops $3.7 Billion

EghtesadOnline: Iran traded 4.15 million tons of non-oil commodities worth $3.76 billion with South Korea during the 11 months to Feb. 19, registering a 60.1% and 48.01% decline in tonnage and value respectively year-on-year, latest data released by the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration show.

Iran’s exports to South Korea stood at 3.44 million tons worth $1.8 billion, down 61.85% and 53.34% in tonnage and value respectively YOY. South Korea was Iran’s seventh export destination during the period.

Iran mainly exported gas condensates, chemicals and copper concentrates to South Korea during the period.

It exported 703,644 tons of goods worth $1.96 billion to Iran, down 48.51% and 41.88% in tonnage and value respectively YOY. South Korea was the seventh exporter of goods to Iran over the 11 months, according to Financial Tribune.

Imports mainly included auto parts, vehicles and chemicals.
