Iran’s exports to Bangladesh stood at 1.43 million tons worth $86.33 million, down 3.68% in tonnage and up 2.24% in value year-on-year.
Bangladesh was Iran’s 33rd export destination during the year.
Iran mainly exported bitumen, Portland cement and pistachios to Bangladesh during the 12 months, according to Financial Tribune.
Bangladesh exported 26,110 tons of goods worth $31.82 million to Iran, down 35.78% and 39.69% in tonnage and value respectively YOY. It was the 52nd exporter of goods to Iran over the year.
The imports mainly included yarn, cloth and paperboard.
