Angouran Lead and Zinc Complex accounted for 302,225 tons to register a 37% decline year-on-year, while Nakhlak Lead and Zinc Plant accounted for 20,574 tons of the total output to mark a 1% increase YOY.
The two producers extracted a total of 1.09 million tons of ores in the last fiscal year (ended March 20, 2019).
Lead, zinc ore extractions during the month to July 22 amounted to 115,011 tons, up 4% compared with last year’s similar month. Angouran's output stood at 108,870 tons, up 3% YOY. Nakhlak extracted 6,141 tons, up 20% YOY, according to Financial Tribune.
